Where do lessons take place?

Lessons can take place in the comfort of your own home, a local school venue, or the home of Brass & Beyond.

When do lessons take place?

Lessons are arranged at a mutually convenient time. They can be held as an ongoing weekly appointment, or run as an intensive course, depending on what you are hoping to achieve.

How much do lessons cost?

Instrumental lessons and Music Theory tuition are £17.50 for a 30-minute individual lesson. GCSE and BTEC tutoring costs £35 per hour.

Am I locked into a contract?

No, not at all! There is no long term commitment. Usually instrumental lessons will be booked in advance for a half term (or holiday season). Whilst intensive courses and tutoring is booked on a case by case basis.

Will practice between lessons be expected?

To master an instrument, practice is always necessary. Even professional musicians still practice on a daily basis! However, we have strategies to build this into a realistic routine which means it won’t take up hours each day, and won’t be the source of any family arguments!

What style of music will I play?

Lessons and tuition utilise a huge range of different musical styles. Lessons will be tailored to engage and explore music which you are most interested in, as well as introduce you to a range of other styles.
